Robeson County, North Carolina is located approximately 1.5 hours from NC's renowned beaches in the south central portion of the state and shares its southern border with South Carolina. Robeson County, NC has a population of 129,021, according to the US Census Bureau’s 2006 estimate. Incorporated in 1787, Robeson was named for Col. Thomas Robeson of the Revolutionary War.
