did you file bankruptcy?
"I
was in charge of all the debt after a divorce
and I was overwhelmed even with Consumer
Credit Counseling. I was not able to get it
under control."

"I
don't know. It was the last thing I wanted to
do. I had no choice. I would have lost my
house."

did filing bankruptcy help you and your
family?
"I
was able to keep my house. I feel like it was
looked upon more favorably because it was a
Chapter 13. It was an effort on my part to do
something. "

you recommend bankruptcy for someone else?
"I mean, if they had resolved every
other means. It was a last option for me. It
is obviously an option, if there is nothing
else. Ultimately, it took all the pressure off
my back by everyone calling all the time. I
was able to go on with my life. I do not feel
like I cheated the creditors out of anything.
