"Dear Mr. Orcutt:
Thank you so much
for your help in expediting my bankruptcy case.
Seeking legal advice was a difficult decision
for me to make, but once I acknowledged my
business failure and my inability to make debt
consolidation payments (a well-meaning but
ill-advised course of action on my part), it was
the start of my financial turnaround. I
saw your TV commercial and visited your website.
It was very informative, and after reviewing
much of the content, I made the decision to set
up an appointment at your Raleigh office.
The whole process, from initial consultation to
discharge, took just six months. I
received my discharge in December, the best
Christmas present I could ever have.
I would especially
like to thank Cynthia, Missy and Simona for
their professionalism and courtesy in guiding me
through the process. Thank you again, and
best wishes for success.
Sincerely yours,
Patricia M."

(Patty is a paralegal in our Post-Legal Dept.)
"Patty:
I would like to than you and everyone at your office.
Going through bankruptcy was the best thing we ever did.
Today we are in a brand new home!!! Mortgage companies will still work with you if you are persistent and don't give up. Our interest rate is only 6%. We moved in last August.
Also, I just purchased a new car. I called the bank that I had previously dealt with. Because I didn't default on my prior payments, they were willing to finance me and now I am driving a new car with only a 4.5% interest rate.
I just wanted to share this with you because people think that their lives are on hold for the next 8-10 years after bankruptcy. Not So!
Tell people not to give up and to be persistent! We were just discharged a little over a year ago and all this happened before our one year mark. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

"April:
Again, I want to thank you for your help, your kind understanding, your non-judgmental attitude and for your whole demeanor of wanting to help. You made me feel that there was finally some hope out of all of this.
Thank you for setting the atmosphere and for making this a successful experience.

"Dear Mr. Orcutt:
We would like to take this opportunity to
thank you for your assistance during our court
proceedings on August 30th.
We want to specifically recognize your
paralegal, who alleviated our concerns and
fears about our decision and made the whole
process run smoothly. She displayed impeccable
professionalism and support and made us feel
at ease. The courteous customer service
displayed by your whole staff was sincerely
appreciated during this very difficult time in
our lives. Thanks again.
Sincerely yours,
Joe and Judy"

"To John Orcutt's staff:
We'd like to thank you and the law office for
all of the hard work and time you put into
getting our case prepared. We have been able
to get some sleep, it was beginning to take a
toll on my health.
We had to check our phone to make sure it was
working. We had not heard it ring in a while.
We have started working with our plan.
You have helped us when we had really given
up. It has really made Jerry become better
organized and I like that he appreciates
things better. Words can never express our
feelings. We are just excited that we have
been given the opportunity to correct our
problems and mistakes.
I was ashamed at first but it's better to
admit when you are defeated and clean up. We
tried for so long and hard. Your ears should
be burning because we speak of you at least
once a day.
Thanks again for helping us,
Audrey & Jerry"

"Dear John,
I would like to thank you for handling my
recent bankruptcy case. Your office was very
accommodating & helpful to me. It was a
big decision for me to make. However, being 72
yrs. old, retired, & living on a fixed
income, I knew I was getting more in debt by
not being able to pay my bills. This was my
only choice.
I was under a lot of stress, but now
everything is so much better. I use no credit
cards.
You have helped to make my life so much
better. I appreciate all you did.
Thanks again,
Doris"

"Dear Mr. Orcutt
I would like to start this letter by thanking
you for seeing my husband and me today. It is
a relief to know that there is a way to
relieve ourselves of this financial burden we
have found ourselves in. We trust your
judgment and expertise in the areas of the law
and bankruptcy and trust that you will help us
make the correct decision. Although I do
understand that our credit will be tainted for
some time, it is important to me to know that
we will keep our dignity in doing so.
The decision to file bankruptcy only came
after the realization that we had made a bad
business decision. Millions of American dream
of owning a business and visualize the
millions rolling in; well, it was not as easy
as we thought it would be. I am not willing to
sacrifice the happiness of my family to reap
the benefits of a successful business. When my
three year old says to me every time I see her
"Are you going to work?", my heart
breaks and I despise the fact that that is how
she sees me, as always leaving. I want and
need my life back.
Once again, I thank you for your time and
understanding in this matter.
Sincerely,
Brenda K."

"Dear Mr. Orcutt & Staff:
Today is my birthday. That me be unimportant,
however, I'm "63" and
"free" of debt, thanks to you and
your staff at the Law Offices of John T.
Orcutt. I recently received my discharge from
the Bankruptcy Court. Even though it may be
suitable for framing, I have decided to file
it forever.
You have no idea how relieved I am to continue
my life without this burden on me. Words
cannot express my most sincere thanks to you
and the complete staff for the continued
support required during the 3½ year of
service you've provided.
That staff members were always courteous and
extremely dependable. They always got back to
me with a reasonable time frame to assist my
question regarding my case.
A special thanks to Donnie Ray helping me with
the Department of Insurance issue and the
Order Modifying Chapter 13 Plan procedure.
The fees associated with this case will never
compensate you and your staff for the level of
service you offer. I wish there were some way
I could return the deed. I'm sure you have
helped many people with this huge problem.
I would just like to say again, thanks from
the bottom of my heart.
Best regards,
Norwood P."

"Dear Mr. Orcutt:
It's important to me that I write to tell you
what a great staff you have in your Durham
office. They are extremely professional - on
so many levels. Bankruptcy is an emotional as
well as hardcore financial issue and Edward
Boltz, Thomas Borges....and especially Taz,
were so helpful and patient with me throughout
the process. One needs this sort of assistance
in life a whole lot more than money. Weelll!
Maybe.
So, thank you and my best wishes for success.
Incidentally, you T.V. ad works.
Sincerely,
Patricia A."

"Dear Mr. Orcutt & Associates,
My husband and I would like to say "Thank
you", for everything you and your
wonderful staff did for us.
I was very embarrassed to walk into your
Durham office and do a Chapter 13. It's
amazing how much pride can take over a
person's mind.
I have never encountered a staff as nice as
the people at your Durham [office]. Everyone
there is professional, yet very friendly. They
put me at ease instantly, especially Taz.
Again, thank you.
From,
Jeffrey and Annette M."

"Dear Mr. Orcutt:
Greetings! May we open this letter, taking the
opportunity to express our thanks to you, your
paralegal Tamara Davis, and your entire staff
in rendering such a superb degree of expertise
in our legal case. With the many hardships our
family has endured for several years, it was
incredible to us that there was any hope or
help for us in our dilemma. Thank god that
heavenly father directed us to your office,
and found people, who did not confirm our
suspicions of the world at large, but who were
patient, kind and exhibited a genuine caring,
while remaining full of integrity and very
professional.
If you want to use us in a commercial, you
would do yourself a huge favor not to....my
husband is handsome, but I have a face only a
mother would love, and best left to Halloween
(Ha! Ha!)
In closing, from dry humor, and sincerest of
thanks, again, our expressions of gratitude
are not enough. We remain,
Sincerely yours,
George and Karen B."

"Dear
Mr. Orcutt,
I
am an Registered Nurse and my husband was a
teacher. We lost a home by fraud and he
was diagnosed with cancer. You helped us
so much at that critical time. Our credit
was perfect before and since our bankruptcy.
Now due to your insistence that the payment on
our new retirement villa be kept low, we were
blessed with a 5.5% interest rate.
You will never know how much you have meant to
us. Every time I see your TV ad, I thank
God for you.
Sincerely,
Linda T."

(Note: Ed Boltz is the attorney who runs our
Durham Office)
"Hello
Mr. Boltz:
This email is to express my gratitude to your
law office for all your help with my bankruptcy
case, especially Wendy. From the day I met
her, she has been a joy. she made me feel
so comfortable with this whole process.
She was able to answer my questions to where I
could understand them (without all the legal
terms) which made me feel good since I was able
to understand what I am getting myself into. I
just wanted to let you know how great she was. I
truly appreciate her kindness, patience, and
overall genuine willingness to help me.
Thanks again!
M. M.
P.S. Taz was great too. I didn't want to
leave her out as she was the first person I met
associated with your office. She was very
sweet and helped get me started with the
process. You truly have some great staff
at that office!"

(Note: Kelly Cox is a paralegal with our Post-Legal Dept.)
"Mr. Orcutt,
I would like to
'Thank-You' for your services. I would
also like you to know how great Kelly Cox was.
With all she has to do, I felt I got the
attention I needed to understand all her
answers. She is really great with people
and has a wonderful personality. She was
always quick to respond to my calls, and was
concerned that I did understand everything.
Anyway, once again, thank you and give Kelly Cox
my thanks too!!
Sincerely,
Elaine L."

"Dear Mr. Orcutt,
I am writing in
response to a joyful experience that my husband
and I experienced under bad circumstances
recently. At your Fayetteville, NC,
location, I had the privilege of working with
Christina Crews and Marcie Marlow. These
two ladies are an asset to your company.
They worked hard for us to help us get through
our Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
Most of the
time people like ourselves don't like going to
the attorney's office to air out our dirty
laundry. I know things happen to make a
person file bankruptcy. But these ladies
did not treat us like we were bad people; they
treated us with the utmost respect under a bad
circumstance. I am just so grateful that
those two fine ladies were assigned to work with
us. You should be proud of them, as we
are.
Thanks for all
the help these ladies do in your office. I
didn't want to leave those ladies out.
Always very friendly and willing to help in
anything they can.
Sincerely,
D. & D. S."

"Mr. Orcutt & Associates:
I filed bankruptcy in 2007; I was
way over my head in debt and didn't see my way
out, until I saw your commercial on television.
My daughter and friend told me about you.
When you took my case, it was
a burden lifted. I want to thank you all
so much. You have an awesome firm.
Everyone in the office is nice and cheerful.
The lady that worked with me (Wendy) was
awesome, professional, had a very nice
personality, and God knows, she knows what she
is doing. The lawyer (Ed) that represented
me was great.
Thank you and your firm and
May God Bless you all.
J. G."

"To whomever it
may concern:
Due to recent
severe difficulties in finances, my wife and I
sought help from a bankruptcy attorney. We
first saw a lawyer in Raleigh who felt that our
case was too complicated and would require a
change in venue request that could prove to be
compromising to his practice. This made
little sense to me. He referred us to a
lawyer in Durham. I then met with an
attorney with Wooten and Wooten for a 30 minute
free consultation. It was not long before
this lawyer told me that my case was too
difficult and that it would not be worth his
time to take it on. He said that the only
attorney in the State that he knew was qualified
to handle this type of bankruptcy case and who
had the time to deal with it was Ed Boltz in the
Law Offices of John T. Orcutt. I did not
even get all of my free 30 minutes there (at Wooten and Wooten).
I then proceeded to schedule an appointment with
Ed Boltz. I first met with Brenda Schmidt,
a paralegal for Mr. Boltz, who spent an
inordinate amount of time with me reviewing our
financial situation. She even made a
follow-up appointment to review my case with me
and I still have not been charged a single
penny. I feel that this firm and attorney
are really looking at truly helping me through
this very difficult time. It is nice to
find a business that is not only sizing you up
for how much money they can get from you in the
least amount of time, but who actually have a
genuine interest in helping you regardless of
the nature of your case.
Thank you very
much,
G. J."

(Renee is paralegal working in our Durham
office.)
"Good Afternoon Renee:
I just wanted to
drop you a line and thank you for providing such
wonderful service to me in my dealings with you
and the Law Offices of John Orcutt.
I had declared
a Chapter 13 almost 3 years ago and recently
entered into an agreement to purchase my first
home with my wife so we can have our own place
to raise our 2 month old son Lucas.
You explained
everything I needed to do in order to request
permissions from the Trustee in a clear and
efficient manner and actually mailed me the
forms I needed immediately. When I
returned the completed forms along with the
required documents, you stated you would
expedite my case without me even having to ask.
Bankruptcy and
buying a home for the first time are both very
stressful and complicated endeavors and you have
eased my concerns a d made your portion of my
process an enjoyable one. In an era of
decreasing customer service and people being way
to busy because they are being forced to do more
with less, you made me feel like I was your only
client.
Please forward
this to Mr. Orcutt so he can see from a paying
customer what a great staff he has not only in
you, but in Meghan and the rest of his
organization in his Durham and Raleigh Offices.
I can't believe
I'm about to write this, but Bankruptcy has been
almost a pleasure with you folks!
Thanks again
and keep up the great work!
B. K."

office.)
"Dear Wendy:
Thank you so much for all your hard work on what
I saw as a category 5 hurricane. Your
professionalism, knowledge and support during
this trying time were invaluable. Answering the
phone was no longer scary and sleep came easy.
Again, thank
you so much.
A.J. and K.J."

(Monica is a paralegal in our Raleigh office.)
"Good Morning Monica,
Well, I have just received the final paperwork for our bankruptcy and I wanted to say thank you. It went just as you said.
You told me in our first meeting to trust you and I explained I had trust issues. I am grateful that this time I could trust someone to tell me the truth and be clear and upfront with me and it all went as I was told.
THANK YOU!! This means a lot to me.
Megan O."
